![]() Let me know if you need any more details. It would make sense to be the USB as that is the most 'used' part of wheel (pretty much after every time I use it I would unplug it and move it out of the way, and then plug it in again when I wanted to use it).Īny help, or people with similar problems who solved them, would be greatly appreciated. The only thing left I can think of is to buy a new USB cable that is factory made (my frankensteining skills could be a bit dodgey) to once and for all see if it is the USB or not. When I plug the wheel in sometimes the shifting lights and motor do their respective actions for a split second, but I can never seem to get the USB to be at the right angle to work. Uninstall any other Logitech software you tried. Download the current version from the Logitech support page for the G602. For the G602 you need Logitech Gaming Software (hereafter referred to as LGS). DONT use G Hub or Logitech Control Center. ![]() So, I cut the wire and frankensteined a new USB male plug onto the wire, and still had no luck (still 'malfunctioning'). To change to software profile mode, you need a working Logitech driver for Catalina. Thats in the profiler at least, in the settings for G29 down the bottom right, I can change the max rotation and that is all. All I can change for the G29 is the sensitivity for the wheel and each of the pedals. The power to the wheel wasn't plugged in at the time cause I was doing a hail mary final just hold the USB plug at different angles to see if it worked, so I do not know if the wheel would've started calibrating. centering spring strength should be set to 0 damper effect should be 0 overall ffb strength should be 100. I got windows (this was unfortunately before I reinstalled logitech G Hub) to recognise the device and windows started 'setting it up' and more importantly finished setting it up. powering the motors directly through a power supply (and they work) opening up the wheel to see if there is any visible damage (there is not - no cracking on the motherboard, etc) ![]() Trying a different computer (both windows and macos) On the computer, plug the Unifying receiver into a USB port and follow the onscreen instructions for completing the pairing. Press the Easy-Switch button to select a channel. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps I can think of: Download and install Logitech Unifying software. Whenever I plug it in windows complains that it could not recognise the device and/or it malfunctioned. My wheel literally was out of warranty a month ago and has now decided to stop working.
